June 4th, 2018

     
    These final weeks of 4th grade have been busy with our final book study of Riding Freedom. Reading comprehension and writing skills were assessed during this study. There is nothing better than a classroom of students quietly reading!










     The 4th graders are finishing the year studying the geography of Oregon in Social Studies. Mrs. Groves and I collaborated to combine art and geography by creating salt dough maps of Oregon. Over the past couple of weeks, the students have created a topographical map showing mountain ranges and rivers as well as the elevation changes in our beautiful state. Maps will come home next week!






 


     We ended the week with field day! It was so much fun!
